he didn't realize she was losing her patience
she had no more high expectations
he couldn't find the words and it all got complicated
she found out the truth and was totally devastated

As if getting over you wasn't hard enough.
I also came to realize that there is no need to act tough.
Never said it out loud that I actually love you,
not sure I could even admit it too.
Told you what I wanted and made it pretty clear.
Had to put my pride aside and face my biggest fear.
If only you could open up and tell me whats on your mind.
If what you felt was love maybe it did make you blind.
I don't like how things between us ended.
Sometimes I think you even took it for granted.
Can we just start over again? No need to be lovers.
Just clear things out and say how we feel about eachother.
Keep telling myself I should be over you, forgetting that feelings dont vanish over a day or two.
You're my first real love and I will never forget how you made me feel.
Might not have been official but it sure was something real
