Surrounded
all sides closing in
the sky falls from
above, the shadows
grasp from below
struck down
or, at least that's
what they thought,
your coming back.
with the force of the soul
a part of you now
never give up, not even death
can stand in your way
the ground may split
the sky may fall
but you rise from the ashes
even as the fire consumes you
they'll fall and
you'll close the earth
they'll be fallen as
you fix the sundered sky
they'll fall forever
while you rise up

when the hammer of the gods strikes upon the earth
and the echoes in mortal souls ring true
then shall old dreams be re-awoken
sparks long extinguished granted new life
as hopes once lost now shine in the heavens

No longer connected to the ground
the ultimate ascension is triggered
eyes open as time slows, the feeling
of eternity coalescing.
No longer obstructed from my condition
everything is revealed,
turning all sight upon itself
subsumed in the realization of being
the bridge manifests, and the two shores appear
now at the brink of what joins man and the divine
the convergence of every challenge and disillusion
spurs me beyond the very state of grace
I step upon the bridge,
exhaling one last breath
before air turns into light
as before me the world vanishes
eyes open as the currents bend before me
I look upon the world with perspective
never before imagined. I reach out to touch them
and so, in the hand of God, eternity Coalesces.

walking down the windless stair
into the murky depths of night
I do not know what lurks in there
but in my heart I know the Light
It guides me through this empty place
filled with the darkness of my fears
along a path that leaves no trace
and the minutes pass like years
without a doubt these shadows break
upon my bright and burning soul
and step by step I choose to take
and through the Light becoming whole

A Twilight stroll through ancient gates
walled by will controlled by fates
a path to worlds strange and new
seen only by a chosen few
Aether pathways now lie open
gates once guarded now lie broken
pieces scattered on the ground
soon the lost shall all be found
corrupted portals that once were guarded
ancient guardians now are martyred
Growing darkness now arise!
Poison all beneath the skies!
dark defenses now awaken
and the light shall be forsaken
all the world rife for taking,
By the darkness now awaking!

from the depths shall rise
a damaged soul now in disguise
shielded first by webs of lies
and quite soon he shall arise
from the darkness in the deep
a ragged voice now stirs in sleep
muttering false promises to keep
should he wake, then you shall weep
but grab ahold of the faded star
always know just who you are
remember in the darkest places
fear obscures all true faces
the light within shall hold all true
and their paths they will renew
night will always lose to day
so long as one never forgets the way

Life's mysteries long forgotten
and with the answers I'm begotten
ice cold truth's long unuttered
words unknown I have muttered
darkness now have I forsaken
into the light I must awaken
shadows break before my sight
ancient boundaries now alight
ancient gateways now are open
old world borders now lie broken
aether pathways lie between
worlds seen and those unseen
now the keys have all awakened
peace and waiting soon forsaken

If i were to tell you i knew of a place
where dreams can come alive
would you journey to such a space
and would your mind survive?
out here there is no difference
from what you show and what you hide
out here there is no running
from the things inside your mind
but way out here the light walks too
see its kind and radiant gaze
and if you look within you
i think you'll be amazed
we walk around with a million faces
some of dark and some of light
but we hide ourselves in inner spaces
out of mind and out of sight
but way out here you begin to see
that's not how it has to be
you will see what its all about
when all the lights go out
now take a look deep within
and view your inner spaces
there is so much more to see
in our darkest places
