The sparkling stars of the evening sky

I guess it's time to put my feelings to rest
Because I know it's for the best
I don't want to feel this pain anymore
and I don't want to feel this pain for evermore.
This awkwardness between us
I wish have never seen light
I was hoping to give you a clue
But instead I said I love you
It hurts to see you walk past
in this corridor of school
My facade of not caring
made me feel like crying
This unrequited love really hurts
I hope I can go back in time
To that night I tried to give you my heart
To stop myself from doing something that tore me apart

I've known you for a long time
time that seemed to fly by.
we met unexpectedly
but became friends immediately
Friends come and go
like the waves of the sea
we had tears and laughter together
things I never thought I'd see.
I've been in endless pain
before I met you my friend
Your jokes are what keeps me sane
without you I'm scared.
Scared of the World
and terrified of life.
