American My name is Ben and I write because I have to. / / Writing seems to be the biggest part of who I am, and I have written somewhere around 800 poems now. / / I write from the heart, attempting to inspire or leave an impact on anyone. / / I typically write from personal experiences and try to express them as beautifully as possible, never watering down my emotions or feelings. / / I love writing from concepts, dreams, feelings, ideas, inspiration comes from anything and anytime. / / My purpose here is simply to be read. I want what I write to be seen and absorbed.
I'm on the other side of myself looking through the glass that divides my heart from my mind, and the sky passes over in time lapse fashion. The stars rotate as they should, but I'm standing still even now, despite the chaos around me. Motion is endless and time is a menace, or an angel for some. My hopes rise and fall like empires through ages while my sight falls and rests on the inevitable The division is clear The result is predicted Just a matter of time Just a short while still So vivid is this image of futures I create but my delusions no longer plague me in this physical state Escape... into the transition beyond evolution coasting past civilizations we never imagined and the void will find you to reclaim the emptiness that's thriving inside you

Escape
It's bright but it's cold and the wind makes it even more so and the clouds and the shadows that they cast upon the ground are flowing streaming on their paths and the hardest part is knowing you're alone and so am I Sometimes you feel like home, so don't ever don't you ever cry on my behalf until I've passed

Until I've Passed
Obtain permanence as ages subside scaling the climate between summer and ice the end is approaching but just from the west we tried to avoid it we gave it our best Light seeps in and void seeks its rest into the solace of full emptiness Finality peaks over the highest hopes and falls down the dark side of slopes

Climates
Awaken to a dream world built to seal you in feel the atoms, digitized, flickering around you feel the virus spreading rapid, overwhelming static This dream is brilliant, ever still, lucidly evolving into unknown tangents of gravel paths or streets fresh-paved by alchemy Is the sun above, or the stars below? Directionless we wait for creation to reveal itself we wait until that day

Lucid
Tormenting distance always a shadow this separated feeling from reality and you Tonight I put my life on repeat for the millionth time and sit here dreaming without ever closing my eyes In these visions, I see red burning sunsets that never descend below horizon's edge I see clusters of stars raining galaxy hail vast nebula clouds, our oceans to sail

Nebula
When convenience meets its limits and cell phones become robots and alternate realities are simply sources of entertainment Take away the lightning take away the lighting digital worlds will crumble inside dying currents back to reality back to the stone ages the dawn of the human race animals, and dust, our nature Let's see how civilized we'll be

Goodbye to Civilized
Like the taste of complete indifference like the thought of knowing such bitterness awakens unrecognizable reflections Consuming from within a black hole beneath the skin my body is a galaxy beautifully self-destructing Time heals no longer only masks the bleeding body only hides the leaking chaos behind serene scenes of sunsets painted by the numbness

Numb
Behind the colors vivid such beautiful gateways lucid dreams await and the mystery is great and we strive to uncover the reality of what's beyond them Your eyes, they hide worlds and wishes and behind them concepts wait and inside them all your faith is concealed

Concealed
Forever in motion, though stillness it seeks always indifferent, but emotion it bleeds A final cut through the shield, through the shell, through the skin Time comes to a halt, and thus forever begins Galaxies burst open, while stars tear apart, while moons split and crumble, still Earth plays its part From the wound, dripping comet trails and meteor streaks scattering pieces of eternity's being
