Twins of you
Face to face
Shocked to what they see.
Wandering if this could really be.
The revealing lies that they have just seen
Mad at the world
Because they have learned
This is who they have become.

Why can't everything be right?
Everyday we make mistakes.
We will never be perfect.
I just want everything to be alright.
I go for the wrong boys.
I disrespect my parents.
I do whatever I want,
And never listen to the background noise
I think I'm never going to change,
Until finally that one day came.
I walk up to the altar
And all the sudden I feel strange.
My world will never be the same.
I have gave my life to Him,
The Man up above.
I finally feel no more shame.
I'm tempted to go back to the way I was,
But that's not who I am anymore.
I'm done feeling down.
I'm done having withdraws.
This is me!
Loving, trusting, knowing the Lord.

I've done a few things in my day that I don't talk about.
But when my fingers hit the keys all the confessions spill out.
No way I'm perfect, not even close
Always I fall short
I'm a sinner and my sins our Savior will abort.
I break rules and use foul words
That I'm not supposed to know.
But I ask for grace and love
Only God can show.
When I'm hurting, when I'm sad
I have a place to turn
For I can pray for help and love
When evil fires burn.

All I have noticed is this world falling apart,
Every time you turn on the news,
Every time a kid becomes different,
Even if I could change it, I wouldn't know where to start.
Most people would say, "You are just a kid, you can't do anything."
But maybe I can...
I can't do much,
But I can do bit by bit.
I pray to God every night.
Having faith he'll do everything in his might.
He sent his one and only
For us to praise his glory.
He's are only way out of this madness.
Love and trust that he's got a plan,
And he will lead us in the right path
For He gives us the light through the darkness.
Be patient it might take a while,
But he's there by your side,
Holding our hands.
So take a deep breath and just smile.

Only one can really see
pain on the inside,
beauty on the out.
But how could that be?
She smiles with pride
and never seemed to have a doubt.
She is consumed by feelings.
Her home life can be rough,
no can see the beatings,
oddly enough...
On the outside she's pretty
She could honestly light the whole city.
Only one would be able to know,
how her life was, long ago.

Its awful to feel like you don't belong.
You can't do this, you can't do that.
Society says being who you are is just wrong,
No matter where you're at.
"Your face is ugly."
"You aren't skinny enough."
These words come out carelessly,
but this happens in everyday stuff.

because there's this man watching from above.
This man is not flawed.
His name is God.
God watches over me and you
and God loves us no matter what we do.
He is full of forgiveness
because none of us on Earth are sinless.
Call on God on the day of trouble,
He will help with all your struggle.
Just bow you head and pray,
and start by just saying "Hey."
