I've been writing poetry for longer than I've been writing anything else. For fifteen years I've been somewhat lost through the world and the rest of life, but poetry brings me back, or rather, to a place similar to life. It's an escape, a home, a love. There's nothing more beautiful or ugly, and that's why I love it.
