My name is Andrew Dexter, I come from the former mining town of Bargoed which is in the south Wales valleys. When I left school in 1985 I went straight into an apprenticeship and went into industry, I have over 25 years of experience behind me. / I started poetry 2001 and I have also been on a writing course, I have written many poems that reflect my life experiences and about my family, I'm happy to share them with you, I hope you all enjoy them, then I know that all my time writing was worth it. I plan to publish a book of my poems one day.
