Today was the absolute worst day ever
And don't try to convince me that
There's something good in every day
Because, when you take a closer look,
This world is a pretty evil place.
Even if
Some goodness does shine through once in a while
Satisfaction and happiness don't last.
And it's not true that
It's all in the mind and heart
Because
True happiness can be attained
Only if one's surroundings are good
It's not true that good exists
I'm sure you can agree that
The reality
Creates
My attitude
It's all beyond my control
And you'll never in a million years hear me say
Today was a very good day
Now read it from bottom to top, the other way,
And see what I really feel about my day.

As I smoke my last cigarette I'm thinking of you
I always thought that everytime I exhale the smoke of the cig.
I would erase you from my mind
and as I inhale it I try to forget you
but sadly I can't
Because the truth is you still hold a part in my heart and I'm still hung up on you.

I tried so hard for these feelings to hide.
But I can't really tell you what I'm feeling inside.
It's something dark, but I feel that it's light.
And I can't keep this for another night.
Everything we had, every moment we share.
I know that it's treasure, that none would compare.
You're out of my league, and yet this I know.
But this feeling for you does nothing but grow.
Something that binds the heart of two.
I know that it's meant, for me and for you.
I hope that it lasts, forever and more.
With you here with me I know that I'll soar.
The peak of the sky, The depths of the sea.
Just hear the words that are coming from me.

Friend today I have dream't about you though I don't know who you are.
You were too lovely even more with those scars.
You were lying in bed on the other side of the room
The day that we meet would be the day of our doom.
Falling in love with you is completely absurd
Loving a stranger well for me is unheard
I'm curious about you, yet I'm afraid.
I'll just ignore the feeling until it starts to fade.

Shallow dreams and broken hearts
Time heal wounds but never starts
Promises, Love and all in between
Everyone was looking but sadly none was seen
Clouds, butterflies in our tummies
Those who believe in love and magic I think are called dummies
I already lost faith the moment you walked out the door
Maybe it's just that I don't blieve in anything anymore
