Take me To our ship in the trees Those barefoot games- I'm dreaming in concrete. Like a lamb led Chasing the curse of skin. Coal full of fire, and A scent that burned We were gone too far, Limbs seduced A sleepwalker's dance Of surrendered sighs. Merest memories Scald the touch. Your gaze, Endless seas Beneath crowding skies.

Barefoot Games
From the depths of my duvet sleep Your voice commands; An arrow through the distance between You and I, it made me Take up the shutters Of my insular shell To welcome the night, Lit by a mere halogen moon, No Goddess for me to praise- Only thick wraiths of choking smoke, Absorbing what to you is a perfect orb Of singular clarity

Duvet Sleep
I sensed distantly the cold encasing my bones, as I suffocated in your lost moments. A forced witness to the baying of your blood. The pin drops the streets closing on you, As your eyes are closed for you. Chasing the chance to feel Something- anything- but you cannot be the cure for the demons in their blood. So slip into that quiet place, Imagine us back into that quiet night, before you were extinguished, to fall, and we all fell.
