We all have that one song that sums up our day, personality or even our life. Well poems are songs themselves and I do my best to portray the truth. Truth meaning my definition of it and my experience with it. You wont find much structure in my poems and sometimes you wont enjoy them either but its your right to say "hey this guys sh**" and walk away. Thanks for reading! / / / Criticism is welcome / / Feb.16.2013: I've been getting some good "reactions" to my two poems so I will make it a priority to post more. Thank you!
I blame the weather
I blame a ***** sweater
Whatever I can to stay inside
For those around I cannot confide
I've always kept to myself
For my ways are judged
Judged by sinners themselves
Who value objects above life itself
I do not follow foolish trends
Nor do I twitter an instagram of my facebook post
For I have very little friends
But my pack is ever so close
We come from the same hood
****** capitol Chicago
Land of crooks and killers
Where only real winners make real figures
Where crooked politicians and crooked cops
Make more money from thugs selling rocks
Than they do from working Chicago blocks
Have you ever heard of a more twisted paradox?
You tell me why they need the newest trucks
With the finest leather for the felon feller
A golden cell is still a cage
Where a killer lives for days as your relative lays forever

You left the streets for your family
But you forgot your own in the ghetto
Moms broken down ever since
Always looking kinda mellow
She cries for her soldier's return
But he'll never leave his brothers
For their presence he'll always yearn
Even if it means leaving two mothers
One his own, the other his children's
But his future was written
Ever as a young'n he

We live a bugs life
Roaches, Dime A dozen
Roley Polys, Belly up scared frozen
Ants, At the hill top
Fighting from their desktop
Taxing every cot
Hundreds from the working bee
Foreclosing hives off every tree
Wives on their knees begging please
Left homeless in stress
Only their babies to caress
*We live a bugs life
Ready to be seized*
