Finally Forgetting (10 word poem)
I remember the first time I saw you. Is that creepy? Probably. Well I do. And sometimes, when I get the chance, I walk back to that place, turn towards the sunset… and I see you again.

The fighting was inevitable, as it had always been. We found a weak spot, bit on, and tore. We broke each other down. They say that only time can heal, But not even time can erase.

Their eyes tell stories that no words could do justice. Just pick up any child on the side of the road and you can read a novel in one glance. So enthralled are you by the tales of loss and hopelessness that you're surprised to see smiles on their faces, leaving you to wonder                            how people with so little                                     can have so much joy.
