The rose said to the sunflower "look at me I am better than you"
"The way my petals glisten
They're like luscious lips of a reddish hue"
"I have spiny thorns that keeps danger away"
"Here I am safe till the end of my days"
And on and on did the prickly bud boast and impose
Only to hear the sunflower reply
"Silly little rose"
"I need not for thorns or petals of red"
"Only my seeds are aligned perfectly instead"
"Here I am before you, Here I stand tall"
"Thorns I have not so I can be picked and kept by all"

Ticking away as you measure the hours
See the cracks on the wall and the withering flowers
You keep everything in place, you try to make it last
For every grain of sand that drops from the hourglass
A person finds out that time is fading fast
But time marches on forgetting those he has taken
If you think you can stop him you’re surely mistaken
One day you’re chasing the school bus you always miss
Then you find out you just had your first kiss
Then you have your first heartbreak crying from the lies
But time was there for you he healed your wounds and wiped your eyes
Then you find a better one and you get married
Soon you notice you have a child and she grows
Thinking that this was the child that your arms have carried
And soon...
It’s the natural order everything must die, someone passes and their loved ones cry
So spend time with the people you love the most, the ones you hold dear
For you never know your time might be near

Eye for Eye and tooth for tooth
I believe in her , she tells the truth
Though i'm not with her wherever she may be
I've done so much for her
And she's done so much for me
Even though were not together,i know we have something
She's my little angel and i'm her devil darling
Despite barely showing affection
Through her I've become a better person
I stay devoted , i wont let my efforts be wasted
