Bittersweet memories All of you that's left to me The way your heart used to beat Down within your chest so deep I could only hear it When held so tight I couldn't breathe Because it did not beat for me. I've loved you til I've cried But now it's only stupid pride That keeps me here and by your side When I should really go. Maybe it is just time to go. I can never love her like you do. You do what's best for the you You think she wants you to be While mocking the every time I do what's best for me. I love you more than ever Without reason, rhyme, or why But I think that we'd be better If you were you, without I. Maybe I'll return To do your chores, lay at your feet Maybe she'll be yours Make you take the option you gave me. Maybe I'll be stronger then To reaist your hold so warm. Maybe you'll be kinder then And even listen to my words.

Lastly, the Muse from heaven speaks- Rousing words, all on their feet But none shall hear (she will not say) The truth stays silent here, today Her tongue but twists upon the words They lie, they lie! They lay Sombre in timid repose Hiding is the gore in her veins, Withered wicked flames. Not a single voice to them clings And so they hear only the lies they need The truth buried again on silver wings. A muse, an angel, tarnished so! She cries the lies far and wide To heathens she calls, she rallies them all! And they hear her, they dream her, they eat her insides The poison words flow with honey and lye She dies softly and slowly with calm in her eyes Through lungs aflame, the truth on her tongue, Silent she lies and silent she dies. Doth perish the muse.

The more people treat me like an idiot The more I feel like an idiot The more I think I'm an idiot The more I am an idiot.

Idiot
Minutes of silence eclipse your desire To argue the necessity Of stealing her away from her home But the resentment burns brighter Each day you can't have her But it's not like you haven't known She won't run to you with alacrity This girl you call your fire. You brood in silent darkness With the words she may never say Holding me closer the more you want her I can't come close to holding her place You say with regret writ clear on your face And then you hide your thoughts in meter Saving me feom that which you won't say, The truth is that you want to end this. Her or you, something has to change. You're not the only one wasting away.
