They say the soul speaks through the eyes,
And I believe it now, under your skies.
For when your gaze, so full and fond,
finds mine, a silent, binding bond,
is woven in that moment's grace.
I see my love reflected on your face,
and in that breathless, beautiful space,
a thousand silent stories find their place.
And as you blush and turn away,
my heart has everything to say.

Some dreams are born in silence,
a wish that takes its hold,
like a precious story,
waiting to be told.
It is the dream of your hand,
reaching out to mine,
to intertwine our fingers
for all of endless time.
And with that silent caress,
and your question,
soft and low,
a promise of forever,
in my heart,
begins to grow.

When I get angry and try to speak my mind,
My voice gets shaky, and tears fill my eyes.
The words get stuck inside my throat,
And I'm so frustrated I start to choke.
Others see my tears and think I'm sad,
They see a "poor thing," not the anger I have.
But the tears aren't for being weak at all,
They're a signal that my feelings feel too tall.
Am I really helpless like they all assume?
Or is this just how my feelings find some room?
This mix of anger and sadness inside,
A common struggle that people hide.
