Hey
It's morning again
After another chilly night
The moon has set
And the stars have gone incognito.
Its time
To face the world once more
But with what this time?
Is it gonna be with the fake smiley face that camouflages the coldest of emotions in the depths of your heart?
Is it gonna be with 'top of the mornin to ya' whilst you watch your life is fall into an endless abyss?
Or is it gonna be by raising your hat in acknowledgement; when you can barely look up with those cried out insomnic eyes?

The world's waking up
To the melodious chirps of the birds
Announcing the sun's arrival in all its spirits; driving away the nocturnals
And blooming the flowers
To spray the air with happiness

We heal the sick with selflessnes
Dedicating our lives round the clock
Giving up our personal priorities
So that your little one goes back to school smilin'
Yes, we're doctors
Neither weekends nor holidays stop us
From just doin' our bit
To make the world a healthier place
We don't demand expensive comforts
Or luxuries
Just two meals a day
And probably a wee bit o sleep
And we're ready
For another big day
For another adventurous day

She makes her presence felt
Like the first rain of monsoon
Like the cold breeze of winter
Like the returning spring
And Like the shade in summer

Amongst the stars she shines
The twinkle;
The sparkle of her eyes
Piercing its way into the depths of my heart
Like the warmth on a new moon's night
A night I never was worthy of
Full of life
Filled with love
The mystical aura
That dances all night
With a blink she's gone
Like a drop in the desert
Leaving behind an endless darkness
Was she all but a mirage?
Was she beyond the senses of the ordinary?
