My heart has always yearned to return to my homeland,
but perhaps my homeland is you.
Within you, "I felt, as if I had" a place I could call "home,"
while the rest of the world treated me as a refugee 
"you made me feel as if I "belonged" in the depths of your heart
A place where only I could dwell. "
Who am I without my "homeland?"
if it’s not the one who lives within you"
"within you my beloved Qaylan 
I found a "homeland" I could call my own.
