Native Depths
I long to find a love, I do— One brushed with the loveliest hues: Of reds and yellows, greens and blues, To paint myself happy with you. We'd lie and watch the stars take flight, Beneath the moon’s soft silver light. I'd never let you leave my sight— My star, my love, my light. Now colors drip, then fade to gray, The sky dissolves, the stars decay. I watch and weep as dreams give way To silence where you used to stay.

Brushstrokes of You
I write you this time, this last breath of mine, to tell you I’d do it again      You can take my hand, or my head, or my heart You’re worthy of wasting my time      But know old friend, no knife is the sharpest no object cuts deep as your words      I write you this time, my final breath is mine, But I’ll bleed out Forever yours

I Write You This Time
Our relationship's rather interesting, don't you think? Kind of like a strobe light, on, off, on off A different story to tell my friends every other night. Somehow, we always find our way back, Despite somehow never staying. because deep down we both know it's the only way. It'd be wrong to break the pattern, wouldn't it? You ***** up, I get upset, You get angry, We fight, We call quits. And I wait patiently could be hours, days, weeks even months. But there you are, back on the doorstep to my heart And somehow you always manage to find the key. No matter where I hide it. It's almost as if it's ingrained in our souls, magnets maybe...? pulling us back, and forth, back and forth on, off, on off Kind of like a strobe light. -R.Ramdin
