I'd champion peace But it's too easily broken Love? By definition, ideal... Oxytocin, that's real Good and Evil? False reprieval Morals are pandemic deceit Warped belief that apart from particles Humanity matters Our fathers vomited fact for sweet self-preservation Stitching saviours from Bygones of creation In the end, I am my own I will trod this path alone Hollow to the bone Until I decompose. The truth? I simply live For fear of death.

Values
Lend whisper... Freedom! See how she lies. Her militant thighs Smeared in honourable discharge Nearly rotten to the core. Lend ear! A Kingdom! Tales of bread rich as flesh Wines, bled fresh From vineyards built upon stars Which the feeble engorge.

Bittersweet
Her promises shine golden His intent rings true But when forced to the grindstone Everything falls through. Can we blame them? The charade society provokes Through sex-fuelled propaganda and sappy envelopes Has written off all stench of decay. Drug-induced perspective renders each romance fresh Blinding one to the maggots eroding its flesh Where people **** to conceal their pain And persist in vain To shape the ghost of a dream. Long after ****** The facts emerge. Couples gape at their necrotic afterbirth. They don't understand the futility Of simply coping. Gone is hoping For something beyond the physical. There's nothing mystical About mindless lust Or the relationships scattered to dust In its wake.

Love and Leprosy
He discarded skin ages ago, The figure in your midst. His steps bereft of shadow, And he lies for lying's sake, Splitting conversation's wrists With a keening grin. The spineless snake, ******* by subtle charm, Offers two expressions for every moment, Intertwined. No longer recalling The face he was given. Intangibility Is his only refuge In a world of pantomime.
