You come in, saying you need medicine
And I ask you what’s it called
You go on defining it’s round and white
I look at you hopefully for more clues
Then you add on saying it’s for diabetes
Turning around, facing over 3 shelves of diabetes medicine
Of which half are round and white
I make a wild guess
And provide you with something which makes you happy
Secretly hoping you wouldn’t die one day
Because you didn’t know what’s your medicine…

She asked why me?
He said I trust people I like
And she smiled sheepishly
Without knowing
One day she’d be on the other side…

‘Do you like puppies?’ she asked. And he said no.
After a while he asked ‘Are you planning to keep one?’
With lots of hope, she said yes and started planning the future that didn’t even exist…
