I fooled myself, I tried to change you. But you see the mistake I did their is that I tried to change you, I tried to make you someone else. And that’s when I messed up because I gave myself hope, I let myself drag that perfect image of you around for too long. You see that hope was turned into desire, the desire of you becoming someone you had no idea existed. That perfect image of you seemed so easy to accomplish, but as I kept going with the idea of changing you, I realized that you cannot change someone who does not realize what they bring to the table.
