I never liked the color pink It was too cheery for my taste Yet here I had that flamingo drink Not a drip or drop to waste She wore it on her clothes It was the color of her lips It was shaded in her drugs And on her fingertips It was in the lights when she danced And on the pole it grew It was in her words when she glanced Now I was pinkish too They say one wears the brightest stars When feeling like the moon So many times I dreamed to ask Yet it always seemed too soon I could tell she guested hell And filled it with pink glitter I crushed it all with fairy gold Not wanting to be bitter I could tell that she was scared But pride wouldn’t let her speak She wouldn’t have her pink heart bared Just left that in turned cheeks She said, “Baby, let go,” with a wink And that was when I knew She was very pink And I was very blue

SASHA
1. You won’t notice him as much at first You might not notice him at all But since he’s not the first to creep You’ll be the one to crawl 2. His kisses may surprise you As you thought he seemed so shy But you know better, darling Look at his glimmering eyes 3. He will explore you like an art museum And your paint will start to drip And yes, he knows how to make you shiver With the fire in his lips 4. He knows exactly what to say To get a laugh or a cry Sometimes he uses mismatched words And you’ll start to wonder why 5. He is now the last to kiss you So brave as he says farewell He doesn’t love for long, honey I’m sorry you couldn’t tell

5 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW - To the next girl who holds his hand
I think I killed somebody But you can’t tell anybody It was just one simple body A soul of a nobody I had hands that ached to be claws And feet that dreamed to be saws I had eyes that sharpened into arrows And lips that sharpened into blades I had a tongue that was very splintered And hair of thickened rope It was the brain that leaked its poison It was the ******* from which one drank It was the heart that made one numb But it was the thighs that slit its neck I didn’t mean to do it Yet I just heard a secret It pounded at the bones in me My skin couldn’t keep it I never knew before then What was thicker than blood I think I killed somebody But you can’t tell anybody It was just one simple body A soul of a nobody
