Lies, lies, lies. These days lies look quite like flies, Like some kind of mini, mean and messy destructive beasts. Yes. Lies are flies. They're perchy and ***** And like lies, flies probably remind us Of what happens when something is wrong, when something is dead and decaying. I see a lot of flies these days. They're even more on social media. Many, many, many, many of them, Flying about. Some are really huge too. Huge, irritating and poisoning like those green flies in cesspits. But it seems only a few people seem to care how flies have started living with us, completely normal. We used to have nets and fliesicides to put them away. But now, we seem to rear them and have them live even inside our souls. So you see them in homes You see them in offices, You see them schools, You could see them more in churches No matter how clean everyone and everything and everywhere seem to be. Flies, flies, flies here and there flies, or lies. It makes you wonder what is Dead and decaying and smelling around us. Well, many things are dead Moral is dead Faith is dead Discipline is dead Godliness is dead Patience is dead Conscience is dead Tolerance is dead Love is dead Dead, dead, dead. Dead and decaying!

Flies and Lies
My love for you is forever Let me be your loving lover Let me melt into your heart And ne'er find a way to part Let our love unfurl and bloom Be my bride and I your groom Let me lie upon your arms And sip the lulls of your palms Let the comfort of your bed Be the ice that cools my head Let me dream sweet dreams of you; Let it come alive and true Let your kisses, smiles and hugs Be my most refreshing drugs Let us hold hands as we walk And find joy each time we talk Let your name and mine be starred On a dainty wedding card Let me lust after your hips And the sweetness of you lips Let your eyes reflect my mood Let your presence be my food Let our voices please our being Let us always be agreeing Let the thoughts my heart design Be the cravings of your mind Let your life and mine be one Let it be unending fun

In Love with You
I met Solomon today. We met at Ecclesiastes. And while having lunch with him, I asked him to tell me how it feels to be dead. And he said "Death is a permanent sleep". I know that already. "It's all darkness," he further said, "Darkness, darkness all the way. Silence, silence forevermore " That sounds freaky. "Yes, and even more in this case, You'll not receive credit alert again". "???" "Yes, and even this your big phone-sef, Some dumb *** will claim it, and be pressing it anyhow. No more emails too, No Facebook nor WhatsApp messages. No phone calls nor text messages. And then, those pictures you took while eating Ice-cream and fooling around at Shoprite and Coldstone, You won't be able to post them again. You will not know what comments you got, Nor what silly emojis were dropped on them. No one will tell you how fat you look Nor how much flesh you no longer have, Your frown will be but nothing to see, Your smile too will have no meaning. No birthday parties, and no more hangouts, No teasing, no laughing, no funning about No Christmas rice and chicken stew. No clothes, no makeup, no shàkara. You won't even hear when your friends laugh Nor laugh at the cries of your so called foes. No football match to watch or argue about No Betnaija, no updates. Your girlfriend too will find new love. You'll no longer get her meechà-meechà No love, no hugs, no kisses too. No groaning, no moaning, no mènè-mènè No sunlight nor moonlight play, No Nepa light nor candle light Darkness, darkness all the way Silence, silence forevermore You won't receive newsletters too, Nor read newspapers in your grave. No need for hope from promises made and no more pain from those letdowns Like something that never existed, You'll be gone forevermore. Gone into the dark, Dark, dark silence. So live life more, as much as you can, Eat well, sleep more, work out, dream. Cause no trouble, curse no one. Be your self and have more fun, Take less work and live just right. Let good deeds be your footprints"
