I go to the corner of my mind where you always wait,
No space between,
Just you & me
A Vita Sackville-West and Virginia Woolf romance,
parallels,
I’m Orlando,
Poem titled “The Oak Tree”
I can’t hold you, yet
Trailing, everyone would stare
- That night I would’ve put my arm around you
I fear that’s how I lost you,
Too scared,
Too in awe,
Too hard to love
But in the room of sliding doors you didn’t falter,
I never forgot
Flowers everywhere
I wish I could’ve framed the way you looked at me with those eyes,
Held you,
Kissed you
And told you how I was never the same afterwards,
I couldn’t eat,
For I had loved, unspoken.
Only to realise after
