Cast upon me your shadows,
Of all the sorrows and agony,
Frustrations and misfortunes,
That fuel your mighty fumes,
With that in mind,
Might I add,
Importance in the perspective of sight,
Brings about new meaning to one’s light,
For whether it be distance or form,
Liberation holds none to condone,
No obligations to conform,
Leaves one’s soul unscorned

What sinks into the mind of this, a small creature before me?
With this party of two,
We peer through the glasspanes of the window,
Watched the ravenous winds of the heavy falling snow,
What more may I offer such a tranquil moment,
But the chatter of my company beside the warmth of a well furnished home?

Why must I have but a single word to say?
What with all the words,
Of such a tenacity,
That once held captive,
This beating heart at bay,
Once, a close encounter,
Then twice, strikes conversation amongst weary travellers,
The third, an absolution of worldly wonders,
Not a single value of mine strive in such circumstances,
Must this segment of time cast its shadows before me?
In hopes that dreary days would set me
free,
From what looms in spells of three
