The fence
Is crowned
With a royal row
Of violet Morning Glories
That cater to a discriminating clientele
Of hummingbirds and bees
While the daylight-shy Moonflower
Opens only at night
For moths.

I look up at Venus
As she dances with an ancient vibrant flare
When suddenly,
Earth says hello.
A lonesome cloud
sends down a gentle drop of rain
That kisses my long-some eyes.
And lets me see clearly beyond
Our dense atmosphere.
Hearts swell
As the majesties
Kindle the grandeur light
To all possibilities
Once again.
