In the middle of a starless night
I saw a sudden light.
Small,distant and dim
It brought a known feeling,that was oh so grim.
A burst of thoughts the same as always:
'Why care when life is just a momentary blaze?'
Harsh and bright
Life is just a blight.
We bring death and despair
No matter where
It always ends the same
'Is there someone to blame?'
The light left the sky with a flutter
And all I could do was mutter
'What kind of world is this,that even fake gods leave?'
Then as I was about to grieve
A blink revealed a new truth to me
this small,gold and feathery
light,that a minute ago left the sky.
It seemed so delicate and shy.
I couldn't resist but reach for it
"You're not a misfit"
Rang a voice so warm and calm.
I felt it in my palm.
It was like a glass ball. So easy to break
yet I was the one to shake.
"The world has no goal."
I felt it in my soul.
"You were given my sight
But I'll give you this single flight
To clear your mind."
For a moment I was blind
Then I realised it was the first moment I could to see
In this moment of glee
I was left alone,as my guide returned to his sky
And I no longer asked myself 'Why?'
The answer always seems so obvious once you know it.
But what matters is that now I'm fit
to finally leave this hole.
After all,I have my second goal.

If Michael gave me his spear,
I would have no fear.
If Garbiel gave me his lily,
I wouldn't feel so silly.
If Raphael gave me his flask,
I wouldn't be wearing my mask.
If Uriel gave me his sword,
I would be adored.
If Azrael gave me his blessing,
I wouldn't be so depressing.
But I think what I got was better,
After all,we all got this letter,
Written with love by one and only,
The one,who's truly lonely.
Freedom came at his cost,
But even with it,we still get lost.
Life isn't easy but I have to admit,
It's better than wearing a collar that doesn't fit.
It's better to not be bound in chains,
Even if it brings many great pains.
Life isn't easy,but I'm glad this star
Gave me the chance for a bizzare,
truly amusing
and sometimes confusing
Life.

If even the deities left us be,
Why aren't we in a constant glee?
Why do we waste our time on worrying
When we should be hurrying
To find what we truly need.
The thing to sate our greed.
The object of our full attention.
The item to end our asscencion.

When you try yet it's not good enough.
When you do your best yet it's too tough.
When you get better yet you still fail.
When you sacrifice it all
But you're still too frail.
When you think all you can do is crawl
Don't throw it away.
Cherish your soul.
Becuase even tho the clouds are gray
And you're at the bottom of a hole.
Because even tho the Sun is gone
And you want to be done.
