"I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead;
I lift my lids and all is born again.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
The stars go waltzing out in blue and red,
And arbitrary blackness gallops in:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed
And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
God topples from the sky, hell's fires fade:
Exit seraphim and Satan's men:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
I fancied you'd return the way you said,
But I grow old and I forget your name.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)"

we are like sunflowers
we look for
the sun
which we want and need
but doing so
we neglect
the young one growing next to us
who cant reach this same sun
as we, persistent
cling on
to it
without letting it go.

Poems what joy
I couldn't understand
but as youth is
we change
I let my heart write
did I expect much?
maybe so
but as that joy still stood strong
unwavering no matter the first
failure all it needed was..
the first like
to make it stand not for now
but forever on.

Snow, fallen on this world
pure but beautiful
but could time allow it?
I guess not
over time it was stepped on and dirtied
until it was nothing more than
another layer of snow
soon to be forgotten.
