The time is coming, the earth soon unwiring
Fire and lightning rumbles down, down upon all the ground
The same ground that hosts the very thing killing it
It seems that the key to both greatness and terror has once again been used on not greatness
But terror
The sky flashes as all of everything you have ever loved, hated, and known, turns into ashes
Bombs rain from above as corpses fill the ground below
Yet, we still look up, at our impending doom
Just to watch one final firework

Our star continues to glimmer
As the people continue to shiver
"Why is that **** star so selfish?"
"All I want is an answer to my wish!"
But the star does not listen to them
As the star's time has yet to come
Once the star glows with the dark
Only then is when it will truly spark
And the world will hear its cries
As it takes its last breath and dies
And the world will feel its pains
As the people are freed from their chains
And the world will feel the dark sun
As all of the universe finally become one
And as then the Dark Sun's quest will finally be done

Do you hear the sound of the beating drums?
It beats and plays all day long
Do you hear the sound that always comes?
It’s sounds fill the air with song
Do you hear the sound of the dying drums?
It tries and tries to be what it was
Do you hear the sound of what has become?
It’s sounds stop with one last pause
Do you hear the sound of the drums now gone?
The sound that freed the people from their chains
The sound that once was used as the world’s pylon
The sound that removed all the people’s pain
The sound that once kept the world spinning on
The sound that will never ever be heard again

There we were
We sat together at the table
As all true feelings and secrets were expressed and shared
She shared a piece of her truth that no other body had heard before
Then the sky went from light to night then quickly back to the trite sight of the morning
And all of those memories came rushing back to me
Then came with the memories, the images
And there we were
Meeting each other for the first time
And there we were
Walking to class together
And there we were
Eating with each other at lunchtime
And there we were
Sitting close in the weather
And there we were
Letting out our most held back tears
And there we were
Together in our own zone
And there we were
Sharing our most inner fears
And there we were
In this world all alone
And there we were
Lying in bed with each other
And there we were
Being friends
And there we were
Watching the sunset together
And there we were
Only being friends
And there we were
Holding close to one another
And here we are
Best friends
And that is all we will ever be

Even those closest to you
Even those who have or are going through the same things you have gone through
Your friends
Your family
Everyone
You are Alone
Your thoughts
Your feelings
Your ideas
Your views
Your emotions
It is all yours
It is only yours
There is only one you
Only you will get to experience how you have experienced your experiences
You will never be able to fully relate to someone
Unless that someone is you

You may have shoulders to cry into
Or faces to laugh with
