She's hiding for the world
Not saying a word
Scared of what they would say
Wanting only to be free like a bird
You see, she has a song in her heart
and a sea of though in her head
But when guys look they think of a bed
They want only in her pants
For which she wont grant
The guys they get angry
They say shes a **** for not sleeping with them
She cries not knowing shes a gem
She has only ever know pain
She seems so drained
She's started eating very little
Now she's like a grain
She though it would make the bullies stop
To be paper thin
But when she learn the truth
She used the blade like a pen against her skin
She hides
She hides it so well
She doesn't have a tell
But she now only a shell of her former self

History
We all know we've heard someone say
'it's in the past why do I need to know it'
We learn history
So we are not to repeat
The mistakes of others
Like bowing at peoples feet
We all make mistakes
But in histories place, it's mistakes are concrete
They affect us today, for we wouldn't be in the same place
For its not up to fate, we make the mistakes
Don't get me wrong, no one is perfect
But all the actions of others still affects us
What can you expect
For sometimes we can't correct
Learning history is necessary
We are just emissary's
Before we all end in the cemetery
Where we our selves
Become apart of the very thing we learned

Which is ironic because then the time goes to waste

We have to use it wisely
Because we never know how much we have
If you worry to much then you will lose precious time

'I Love you'
I say it a lot, like most do
The difference is, I only say it to friends and family
You see someone way before you said 'I love you'
I said it back thinking it was true
I broke down when I learned it was a lie
I broke down when he went back to her
You see he was the first guy I ever said 'I love you' to
I meant it when I said it
I guess that's why it hurt me so much
I guess that's why I build my walls up
I guess that's why I have only ever told him
'I love you'
I see the sadness in your eyes when I don't say it back
I know you want me to say it
But i'm scared that it will happen again
That you will leave
That you won't feel the same
That you will realize you could do better
I'm scared because I do

Kindness
It seems few know what it means
People of this generation are mindless
But we are not who we seem
You see we all have dreams

I don't understand how people can bully others
We all know what it's like
Do we really have to lose another
When will we learn that we are all alike

Few show it
I admit that I forget it sometimes too
But we have to commit to being kind
It's the only way to make it through

Life is not meant to be easy
I know this, you know this
Life is full of ups and downs
However, my downs make me feel as if i'm drowning
the problems overflowing and entering my lungs
It's hard to breath with the problems swimming around me
They say drowning is torucherous
That you are fighting and gasping for air
That how I feel when i'm down
I feel like i'm drowning
The ups are quick and fleeing
They last merely minutes sometimes seconds
They are appreciated nonetheless
You see when your're drowning you want nothing more than to breath
When your down you want nothing more than an up
When you're drowning you fight for life
When i'm down I do the same

I'm Afraid of mirrors
Not because of the creepiness of them
Not because it shows my reflection
I'm Scared of mirrors because I see the scars
They are not visible to the eye
They are mental scares
I'm afraid of mirrors
They are scars only I can see
When I look in the mirror
I see the time I almost ended it
I see the black eye my abusive brother had gave me
I see the thousands of times I've cried
