Purpose

The purpose of life is to discover there is no purpose The goal of life is death The universe is not the center of all that exists The soul is just a breath I search for answers that someday I will forget And I will be forgotten All I know is that I’ll know nothing at all When my flesh is rotten I hope that life exists beyond the grave Hope is all I have To wake up in the cradle of eternity Hope the soothing salve
