Your flash of anger
makes me wonder if
right I was to deny
your entrance

My heart is small
and would never endure
Your full-grown passions
Your temperamental tantrums

No, in my heart
they would never fit
Little girl lies
In bed all night
--- wondering ---
What it’s like
To kiss a prince

With the rise
Of the Sun

Little girl
--- Wonders ---
No longer
And still
I tell myself
When it comes to poetry
You have to know
When to stop
I wake each day
To your Sunshine
I will love you through
Life
Grief
Sickness
And
Death

And when I die
I will love you
Still
Dark
Gray
Sullen
Skies

This day
The fool is back
To claim his roast
To spread his evil fire
And turn the world
----- crispy -----
With his whiny
Self-righteous boasts

Yet
it is not he
who is the fool
Who seeks the world
---- to rule ----
But
rather us
who again
granted him the ability
to pursue
his power lust
