A small child explored a rocky beach
As he ate a peach
His foot slipped and he fell
Then he found a sea shell
It was tiny
And shiny
He put it in his pocket
Then remembered, in his pocket was a locket
Of his sister whom had died
All because he had lied
He remembered the day
They were at the bay
He had told his sister the ocean was calm
As she looked at her palm
“I don’t know how to swim”
She told him
He convinced her it was okay
As he watched the ocean spray
She frowned
Then went into the ocean and drowned
I've noticed that my poems seem to revolve around death lately.. Even if I have the intention of making a happy or funny poem.. Oh well, I still like how they turn out. Let me know what you guys think of it!

The man saw a deer
It had two ears on it’s head
He drank his beer
Suddenly it was dead
The man felt delight
There was quite a flood
The fur of the deer was white
But soaked in blood
A woman emerged from the trees
The woman walked over the hill
She got on her knees
To inspect the ****
She had finished her fun
And lay down her gun
Just a fun little poem to read. Hope you guys liked it.
I tried making a Sonnet, not sure if I did it correctly, but I think I did.

I was in the dorm
During a very bad storm
As I sat on my chair
I gave my friend a dare
He walked out with one final glare

Out of my window I saw two bears
With alarm I ran down the stairs
I opened the door and what I saw was not fair
Blood dripped from the bears
My friend’s father would have no heirs

I followed the bears
Back to their lairs
When they went to sleep
I would leap
When I was done there was nothing but a heap
Of bodies in the keep
I really love rhyming poetry which is why almost all of my poems rhyme. I've started to make more poetry lately because I'm in a Creative Writing class now and it's becoming fun again! Anyways, these poems are just for fun, they have no serious deep meanings behind them. Hope you enjoy them! :)

Winter
It's cold and white
The trees are bare
I look around no one is there
So cold so dark
So far away
Maybe I'll get there another day

Reflections
When i see a mirror
I see a reflection
Of the person standing in front
Of it
But not only that
Now I see
Mirrors don't show the inside of me

The Wandering Rocks

Ulysses was a hero
With his very own crew
They blew through the ocean
On a boat full of supplies

They sailed out of darkness
Into the light
Back to the world they knew
As they sailed home
They heard a sound, the crew couldn't describe
Not a man or a seagull
But a sound all the same
Whistled through and around

The crew glanced back
Behind the aft of the boat
To the unnoticed sight
There were a group of rocks
All jagged and small
Far into the distance all right

But as the crew watched the rocks
They seemed to grow over time
It was a peculiar sight
To see

The crew moved on by Ulysses order to row
Then Ulysses set sights for land
A land called Thrinacia,
Isle of the Sun Titan
In hopes the rocks stop the chase

You are stuck
Lost in a wave of people
Going and coming
All day long
You look around to see
The same expressions
All busy or tired
And ready to go
Go out
Out of this traffic
That has held you up...
Everyone up...
What is this place?
This...
This is New York City

When I see a mirror
I sit and cry
Because I see a reflection of
The very eye

As I pick up a pebble
Near a stream
I listen to the sound of the water flowing,
The birds chirping on the trees,
Animals in places you wouldn't expect,
Life surrounds me
More then I could imagine
More then I ever realized
I am just a small part of life...
I look around and spot a deer
It is feeding off some bushes
It is amazing
Wonderful
I am here now
With this forest
In this nature that surrounds me
I am here
And I will never leave it behind...
Ever...

It gets worse and worse throughout the house
Until he came to the one little mouse
"hello little mouse what do seek?
I'm here for you and you to speak"
The little mouse squeaked and looked up at him

"I seek the leak,
To stop the rains from pouring in my small domain"
The sky flashed and the storm cried
Then the rains stopped and the sun shined.
"Go now, venture out. Enjoy the weather, my small little mouse."
