Thoughts, ideals, body thrills
ruled by something.
Blindly or do you know?
I wish I could tell you
but it's too mean.

Goes to show
you didn't learn to look the future in the eyes.
Instead, you walked right past the mirror.

Something about rain thrills me,
Chills me,
Makes me shiver to the core.
Sends pure ecstasy through my veins.

Something about a storm excites me,
Ignites in me,
A sense of wanting more.
Begging for an adventure to begin.

Something about the sounds calms me,
Yet alarms me.
Makes me want to race through the storm,
Laughing as I jump into its games.

Something about the smell
Portrays in me,
A delicate being,
Waiting to be born.

a lynch-man
in the Tennessee hills
had run out of hanging thrills
so he decided
to travel
a few hundred miles
crossing the border
into Arkansas
with his new hemp ropes
at the ready
he sized up
the governor's and his spouse's
necks
saying nonchalantly to himself
what the heck
then over the highest branch
he flung the noosing strings
and corralled
the wicked corrupt two
into an inescapable pen
round their napes
he placed
the stricture of the knots
which he'd pulled
very tight
and said farewell
saying to them
hang on
I'll be back later
to see how you're both fairing
on his slow return
Bill and Hillary
were silently gagged

I can do this!
Or not?
I will be okay!
Will I?
I'm perfectly happy!
Am I?
I don't need anybody else!
Really?
Moving abroad is the most thrilling thing I've ever done, but I'm also soooo scared that this isn't my best idea...
Those piercing eyes,
Cause piercing cries,
That cut the night,
To be devoured by flies.

All the wise,
Will seek demise,
When the only prize,
Is foolish delight.

Have a bite,
Of broken ties,
And lover's pies,
Caked in lies.

A woman dies,
In fading light,
Of teeming fright,
From piercing stares.
I thought this one might be a little spine-tingling.
You be the judge.
Since it borders on horror, I like it a lot.
Not because of the horror, but the border.

Enjoy!

Is difficult to come by
These days
It seems trends
Take prevalence
Over genuine creativity
Replicating what's in
And it's shameful
All that's needed
Is the thrill
Of discovery
Taking risks
What's needed
Is originality
Written on a gloomy July morning
Your love is like skydiving,
   an unnerving thought,
breathless & intoxicating
  elevations beyond exhilarating,
  as it transforms life's panorama
    nothing seemed ever the same,
after the thrill of the fall
Blades and Band-Aids,
Concealers and Pain Relievers,
Sleeping Pills and Abandoned Trills,
Tired Eyes and a Young Sunrise,
Friends That Can Care While I Despair.
Basically.

The wisps of smoke in the air,
the hazy vision from the short-lived high.

The cheap thrills on the road to nowhere,
drunk off stolen ***** from the cupboard of your house.

The pulse of your heart in beat with the music,
the remedy of your depression coursing through your veins.

The unfeigned laughter and guileless smiles,
this is what it means to be part of the misguided youth.
