Whenever I feel this way
Thinking I've nothing to say
I gather my thoughts straightaway

With the words on a page
Simply rearrange
Letters like a Daisy-Chain

The Intent is clear
I hold dear
How I truly feel
IT'S REAL!

1st Poem/Words of 1st Album Concept I have challenged myself to create during 2024 - Life Willing. .  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqZIPsTcjVo
You can't always be happy,
Otherwise, you might fail to realize
The value of a smile after you frown,
The essence of getting up when you're down
The things you do when you try to have a lasting change,
When you try to have the priorities in your life rearranged
For even the darkest night will end,
And the sun will again rise
You are willing to be a new person,
But are you willing to pay that price?
Working towards achieving a sense of lasting happiness is a real effort not many are willing to undertake. It requires hard work and dedication to improve your own self to be more positive and happy. Even though it seems like a distant dream, for being happy is about living in the moment and sometimes overcoming them too.

No, we would(n't.)

Had this one in the drafts for awhile now. I don't really format poetry in crazy ways, but when writing a poem about twisting words, I feel like it needs it. Mocking and sarcastic is the tone I was going for in this one. What do you all think?

no need to be scared little girl
no need to fear your change.
the woman who you
need to become
is already inside you.
this is not your
transformation
this is your
reformation.

I have to fix my broken parts,
Before I completely fall apart.
Before I crumble down to dust,
Before I make a giant fuss.

I have to let myself be new,
Before I become what I don't want to.
Before I die in front of crowds,
Before I get to be too loud.

I have to be a different me.
Before I'm worse than I want to be.

I have to rearrange,
So I guess I have to change.

Yesterday I was full with pain
I could not explain
How I was feeling
But today with energy put to play
I can rearrange my thoughts

Move the chairs and table
Look beyond the unwashed cups
Un isolate my self
And talk
And rearrange my thoughts

talk to you
Like I used to do
Throw ideas into the air
Let them land where I stand
Some will fall and some are caught

You were the pomegranate nail polish
I wore yesterday but have wiped off today.
I'm ready for everything to finally change
without you I'll be rearranged; in a better
state of mind, with you I was wasting my time.
just going sideways
won't get you to the top
you'll meet others going sideways
and at some point you'll just stop

really, going sideways
means at the bottom you must be
i can move you on from sideways
if you'll just listen to me

it's time to make a change now
time to make a change
you don't exactly know how
but, it's time to make a change
going sideways gets you nowhere
so, it's time to rearrange
so, hang on tight
it's time to make a change
rearrange your life and make a change

do something different
that you have never done
go on out...just somewhere
and try and have some fun

increase your interactions
maybe even try to smile
instead of always driving
maybe go and walk a mile

it's time to make a change now
time to make a change
you don't exactly know how
but, it's time to make a change
going sideways gets you nowhere
so, it's time to rearrange
so, hang on tight

you'll find others going sideways
so, grab them for the ride
it's better moving upwards
instead of side to side

your life is an adventure
and you'll find out you will grow
if you switch the sideways shift
and upwards choose to go

it's time to make a change now
time to make a change
you don't exactly know how
but, it's time to make a change
going sideways gets you nowhere
so, it's time to rearrange
so, hang on tight
I hate you girl.
And I will never say
I think about you so much
Its funny how
I fell for you
But at the same time
I hate you
I always said
You were perfect to me
But you weren't
You were ugly
My friends said
You were the best
But they lied,
You weren't worth it.
People said
I still love you, but
I loved you.
