It's late.

Moonlight seeps into the room through the tiny cracks of dusty blinds.
It illuminates everything.
Touching the books on the shelf,
Caressing the plush carpet,
And landing ever so delicately on the girl knelt at the foot of her bed.

Her eyes are held shut,
Tears leak down the sides of her face,
Fogging her glasses.

Her arms are folded,
She's reverent,
And her head is bowed.

She breathes in and out with the sound of the fan waving overhead.
Her heart beats to the crack of the house settling beneath her knees.
She prays.

The cars drive by her house unknowingly,
The lights dash across the walls.
It doesn't distract her.

The buzz of her night light hums a mesmerizing tune,
Sweetly melodic.
She smiles through the tears.

The faint talk of another muffled through the walls,
She stays kneeling.

The tears don't stop streaming as the heavens open to her.
She raises her face to the ceiling,
Eyes still shut.
She sighs.

Kneeling there,
patiently,
She waits for a sign.

Outside a storm is brewing,
The rain begins to pour.
The thunder is lowly roaring,
Lightly tapping at her door.

Yet, nothing moves her.

She stays in place,
Still knelt,
Still praying with tears upon her face.

She sighs.
Bows her head once more,
And still held shut her eyes.

Some say she recites the Lord's Prayer.
Or perhaps a Psalm.
But maybe she just kneels, patiently waiting, staying calm.

"God, are you there?"

She looked at him
In the dimly lit room
Sensations blooming
At her plush lips
Every inch of flesh
Taken impatiently
His playing hands stroke
His intention clear
The moves playing
Of rhythmic ardor
Pulsating
Panting
Fervent
Consuming…

Smart was my first girlfriend,
Open minded she was a friend.

She was my 3rd crush,
Often she would blush,
Forget I'd all the rush,
The ***** of hers was so plush.

Why I remember our third kiss,
Ended it so sweetly in a bliss,
Royal caramel chocolate I miss,
Enthralling was her soft hiss.

Her memories I remember sharply,
Exceptional was my every reply,
Really my kisses were never haply.

Lies never ever appeared among us two,
In fact she wanted me to be her Mewtwo,
Penance she was my life number two,
S*he wanted to kiss me but atwo*.
I can't help how I always rhyme my poems.

Endless Horizon Dec 2014
Sunlight beaming through the windows I
did not expect what I’d found.
Brown faded boxes scattered to and fro
little did i know what I’d find right below.

In one box, as normal as the others,
I found a friend from years long past.
My teddy bear...unwashed,
its ears weirdly bent, its eyes on its last.

Then, the memory hits me.

Back to a sunny day,
a time when I needed not worry
of complicated things.
A day just spent with this bear by my side.
Frolicking the fields and
getting my shoes ***** from all the mud.

Oh how I yearn to live in a time long gone,
when it was all still simple
and when it was all still sweet.
A poem I wrote as a class assignment! Just revised some lines and added new ones bc it wasn't concise enough.
**I want to post new poems but I can't because of all the homework and schoolwork I have to do its annoying***

Its time to rest,
My favorite stuff animal on my chest.
No matter how old I grow.
My favorite stuff animal will help me defeat every foe.
I cuddle with its old fabric,
No longer new but still seems to be magic.
Its stitches now loose,
And is stained from some old juice.
But I love my stuff animal,
Even if he is flammable.
He is always there,
Waiting to declare,
That I shouldn't be scared.
Because he in there to protect,
To keep me in check,
So I wont have a freight,
About meeting my worst fears yet.
As I know I will be safe,
As I lay down and wait.
Good dreams will come,
With my favorite stuff animal and then some.
I love my stuff animals
