I used to put my faith into these numbers.
Wishing, hoping and dreaming that time could define
A perfect life with you….
and still
It doesn’t make sense to look back,
and think that 11:11 was just that.
“Make a wish” in text, sent every night,
Not a superstition and more than a time.
It was my way of saying that I truly love you,
and our dreams and our hopes will grow to be true.

My shadow is kind
blurry at times
and darker some nights
But she hums so sweet
and one time she said this

"Make a wish
on that shining star
It is pacing the sky
passing the time
endeared by your kind"

And I did try
for my cry to reach that high
of what I couldn't wish for
in one starless night

I looked up to the star bright
admired it shine with my eyes
open wide as I smiled
and I wished for that childish delight
to never leave my side
as it didn't that night
So that I could still fight
when the scorching sun would be high
and the feathers of my wings
would feel light
Make a wish on that shining star
Make it true, make it shine

I wish I could cry on your shoulders
But you have been gone for the past week
I wish I didn’t have to carry  these huge boulders
But you have more important things that you seek
I wish you were here
But you seem to be over there
All I can do is wish
Twice a day
11:11 am and 11:11pm
And they say wishes come true
So where’s mine?

I made a wish once
That maybe one day you would love me.
We would live happily ever after
Just like all the movies.
We would sing and dance
While we watch time fly past
Sit by fires and cuddle
And talk about how we had it good

But no, that wish never came true
Instead you take her dancing
And you sing her beautiful songs
And when the temperature drops
She is the women you sit by the fire with
And think **** we have it good.

I made a wish once
That maybe one day you would love me.
I guess wishes never come true.

To hope is to catch falling stars.

You wait with open arms.
You are waiting.
Waiting for something.
Waiting for something that you know will be beautiful.

You are waiting for something beautiful.

You wait with your hands spread like butterfly wings.
You are waiting.
Waiting.
Anticipating.
Knowing.
Not knowing.
The Pain
That will burn you alive.

It will burn you.

Till there's nothing left but ashes.

It will burn you.

And set you free.
i have no idea where logic comes from.
