The heat of the pyre;
The way of the fire.

The strength of the earth;
I've had it since birth.

The ebb of the stream;
The power to dream.

The strength of the hurricane
Puts us in further pain.

The depth of the void;
Our future destroyed.

Beyond the piles of fractured rocks
And the dunes that echo empty
Lies no more songs of the wind
Or any fruits of pleanty
The sky it darkens so much so
That the nocturnes all come out
But not a star nor moon is there
Just black fog seeping out
The trees are withered well and good
From poison tears that fall
The creatures move - mirages
Of what they were before it all
No more ocean and no more skies
When plastic people pester please
The forges of nature overrun
With men of metal and guys of greed

We know there's a world within one drop of water.
Like God's tear, a trillion ton ice-cube dropped
in the drink, heating the oceans over time,
submerging man's false-ego and polluting cities,
some say sublime.  Swim or sink people,
as acid red rain, falling from your closed eyes,
for they only see grey,
washes it all away.  What do climate crisis
denialists snort in retort,
who cares about holes in the clouds,
melting ice-cubes at the poles?

We also know there's a universe in our seas,
yet, only 2 global fisheries are left,
what of humanity bereft of that food?
When bees are extinct so will we be.
Seldom is a lone tear's story told,
yet Gandhi knew, laid out how the future unfolds.
Atom should not be split, Adam should not be cloned,
"the root of oppression lies in (supposed) science",
he foretold, 'from his lips to God's ears'.
Mahatma Gandhi quote above, in memoriam and celebration of India's Independence Day on 8-15-20.  Thanx to All for all you do; have a blessed day    :)   reality

Glaciers are melting away, as shadows in the darkest hour,
Nature’s enrage, has now turned into a war;
Even at a place so uphill,
There is no cold wind nor the chill.

The trees that we cut down fell,
And the green heaven turned to hell.
We pretend to be deaf of what we hear,
And stay blind of what that happens here.

Our voices never have raised,
Nor the fire inside us has blazed.
So, let us all stand straight and tall,
If not, we all shall fall.
Composed on a thought-provoking note, “WE ALL SHALL FALL” focuses on global warming and our ignorance. The message insists on human beings to stand straight and tall, against this disaster.
"If not, we all shall fall."
burning rain forests
wild animals with shrinking space to live
growing air pollution
smog in major cities
more than 3,5 million deaths

global warming
new insects and other beasties
    in the formerly cooler regions
extreme hurricanes  rainstorms  heatwaves
excessive use of fertilizers by agro-industries
bees are dying
blossoms are left unpollinated
biodiversity is in a flat spin
deserts keep growing globally
fossile fuels are still polluting the air
curious dolphins die in the water of the Thames

after so far hundreds of thousands died of Covid-19
it is high time to see the larger picture
to comprehend interactive phenomena

the pandemic brought earth a little recovery time
the waters have cleared
you can actually see fish in the canals of Venice
satellite pictures show clear air over metropolises

suggesting: the new normality after the pandemic
must be significantly different from the old one

do we really need hundreds of thousands to die?
does it need a virus for us to understand

that we need a different relationship to nature?!!

The colours and the lights that glow,
The music and the masks,
The people swaying to and fro,
In the enchanted dance.

The moon and the stars that glow,
The glimmer in her eyes.
The glistening earth, creating quite a show,
Gleaming as the sun begins to rise.

The gas and the smoke the flows,
The fire and the ruin.
The devastation that grows and grows and grows,
This barren land with blood strewn.

The horror and the burning earth,
The mess you refuse to regret.
Trapped under the Ruin’s Curse,
I won't forget

this global catastrophe,
happened when a group,
of people called society,
decided to do something,
beyond their sanity,
calling this massive destruction,
we made,
humanity.
you see,
these people who come,
from different varieties,
preaching from any type of equality,
knows nothing of the prophecy,
that's leading them into,
a catastrophe.
their heads stuck to their,
devices,
little did they know that the,
ice is,
melting.
don't you hear trees,
crying?
when our brutal machines cut them,
we're not even trying?
and yet we still believe,
society thinks,
brutality is somewhat,
less beyond our sanity,
making this world,
a global catastrophe.

Light from dark
Resurfacing
Rethreading
What befell the Earth
Involves us all

Dark from light
Resonating
Reverberating
What befell us all
Cannot be undone
