She never forgets your birthday, always buys you a thoughtful present
She's the hostess with the mostess
every time you go to visit
She's reeling you in, mascarading as a friend
She's gathering ammunition, it's a means to an end
Her venomous remarks seep like poison through your veins
When her words cut you deep, she's tallying up her gains
But your soul feels unsettled, your gut instinct never lies
For this person that you trusted, is a foe in disguise

We meet once again
always standing face to face
with a questionable glance
and an unfamiliar trace.
emotionless and still
testing out a smile or two
in yet, a judgemental stance
curved mouths that don't feel true.
And of course sometimes we dance
& re-enact our favourite scenes
do extreme fashion shows
before stepping outside by all means.
A peculiar friend you are
& a puzzling character too
who makes me feel like a queen
or implies that I belong at the zoo.
We are one & the same
yet so foreign-
The being in the reflection
of my silver screen.

I learned the hard way
That it’s okay
To cut your losses
And to cut ties
With parasites.

I don't know what I did wrong.
Don't yell at anyone for something "I did".
I hope your happy with yourself.
Tearing people apart.
Hurting the ones that care about you.
Turn people I care about against me.
Turning my friends against me.
I hope you are happy.
I hope you make Erica happy.
I hope she knows about how bad of a person you are.
Biting your tongue.
Clenching your fist.
Smoking your ****.
Crushing your pills.
Spreading your lies.
Devil's tongue.
You're a sociopath, I believe.
You can get anyone to believe your twisted lies.
I even got down on my knees for you.
How pathetic was that?
I don't even like you as a romantic or a ****** partner.
My lips touched yours.
I touched the devil's lips.
I felt the devil's warm embrace.
I guess he is called the devil for a reason.
About a frenemy. A yucky boy.

Hundreds of thoughts
starts a fight
and I'm the one on losing side
And I have to face it ,
cannot avoid
They do not play fair
their debate
goes nowhere
It starts somewhere
and do not end
They make loud noises
each one with own voice
gives my head an ache
too much to take
Tires me out ,
brings me to the state
that I succumb to their whims
burn down my own dreams
I can't win against me
my very own frenemy

Daily life quotes
Mark Ipil Sep 2015
Kaibigan, pinakamasakit na tinawag mo sa akin,
Na lubhang kumirot at tumusok sa damdamin,
Isang bagay na tumuldok  sa aking naisin,
Isang kirot at hapdi na kay hirap alisin.

Kaibigan, isang taong laging nandiyan,
Hindi ka iiwan o lalayuan kailanman,
Lahat ng sakit at luha mo’y maiintindihan,
Hindi ka matiis kahit mapunta  saanman.

Kaibigan, isang mapagpanggap na kaaway,
Na palagi sayo’y nakangiti’t kumakaway,
Ngunit sa iyong pagtalikod hanap ay away,
Iyong pagbagsak ay kanyang tagumpay.
P.S. Hindi lang tatlo ang lebel ng kaibigan. :D

Tick tock
        Tick tock
                 Tick tock

It's already 5am
And here I am
Wide awake

As thoughts run
Through my head
Like a bullet train

Am I relapsing again?
Or I'm just on the edge
Waiting for a helping hand?

Or maybe I'm letting it be
For I've missed
Insanity to seep inside of me

Seeing that I am able to write
Shows clearly that
Hypomania has arrived.

Welcome back,
                 My frenemy.
