I saw you glide around the basketball court today like the floor was made of freshly polished glass.
You didn't falter once.
You slid as easily as ball bearings across an endless marble table.
Circling & spinning & swaying & twirling.
Your dress was polka dot.
It whipped sharply in the wind.
I watched you skate until you rolled away, onto a gravel path.
Although your absence was as silent as the drifting of your blades,
As the sky went dark, I really wished you would have stayed.

You left, I turned out right.

I turned around and saw your face.
Right then and there, I fell in love.
You smiled and my world just melted,
Little butterflies fluttered in my stomach.
Sweet letters I wrote and still keep under my bed,
Short glimpses that make my day,
Daily doses and episodes of you.
Watching you from far away,
I can't help from falling everyday.
Your smile brightens up my day;
Your sweet words when you speak
Moves my heart, I fell again.
Closer and closer, I can sense you.
Closer and closer, you are so near me.

And then you knelt, and I froze
I don't know what to do
I was lost for words and had my hand to my chest
Tears began to suddenly pour.
Oh, how much I love you so!
I wanted to reach and embrace you
But, your previously melting smile,
Froze me on the spot.
I wanted to look into your eyes
To see the love inside.
Sadly, my feet won't let me move.
The echoes of people in the background,
Resounded and almost broke me.
When she said YES,
I know, It's too late
She's yours and you're hers
How I wish it was me!
Oh, how I wish it was me.

after all this time
here i am
thinking about you.

you stared at me
as you tore me to shreds.

were my eyes the only thing
beautiful enough to keep
untouched?

How do I tell you
That I miss your hell fire?

Cigarettes in the middle of the night
Wine by campfire light
Lakeside loops
Hula hoops
You were the whiskey in my Dr. Pepper
My now until forever
We walked through the darkness as a pair
I still make our drive but you're not there
I miss you

Time has passed now,
I hope you are a part of the waves crashing down
At peace
Hope you are a butterfly flying around somewhere
Forever wandering
Hoping you are the color of deep red since you loved it so much
Filled with passion
I hope you can hear me
And i hope you have let go.
You deserve to be at peace.
Finally.
I hope you are drinking wine and eating tacos with Marilyn Monroe while dancing to your favorite songs
For eternity

I never realized how much you did for me, the little things.
Im a mess now.
I just wish i could talk to you
The only one who knew what to say
When all came crashing down

I miss arguing with you about little things
And laughing til we cant breathe
You seemed to be the only one who really knew me.
I would do anything to have you back, but i cant keep reflecting on the past.
I have to let go too, but i cant let go of you.
You were my life. All that i knew.
Gone far too soon.
God i wish i woulda knewn.
I would never turn down an outfit you picked out for me,
Just because i love you.
I would never turn down an opportunity to come see you,
Which i know i did towards the end.
Too involved in social dynamics and friends.

I regret it all momma.
What i would do, if i knew, that i would never see you again.
I would have never missed your birthday.

It cuts me to the core.

Just know, i love you so.

With not a worry.

Dont stress about me,
Ill be okay, eventually.
I love you infinitely and appreciate all you do for me.
