My vagabond heart skipped with every step taken,
As if the wind whipping around the trees whispered, “Go find your ‘Great Perhaps.’”
it can strike anywhere

like matches,
converting sulfur into flame
and setting fire to the couch

it can come to you at anytime,

you might be
pondering your most
deepest thoughts
about the universe
in the shower,

retaining some boring lecture
from your college professor,

manicuring your lawn
and watering your garden,

wolfing down 5 cigarettes
on your smoke break to
cope with the stress levels,

checking out books at the library,

flipping over your chicken
on the barbecue grill,

in the middle of helping
your kid out with their
science project,

listening to a song
that makes your
little hairs stand up,

in the end of a good book,

sipping a cup of coffee
and staring out the window
from your kitchen,

from the longest trip to the grocery store
to the shortest distance to the sun,

from the worst day of menial work
to the greatest copulations

it can occur,
whenever and wherever
don’t lose that thought
fill pages upon pages
with ink from your pen
as soon as you can

for me,

this one happened to me
when I was walking my dog
and picking up the dog ****,

two teenagers drove past
doing 45 in a 25mph zone
and the passenger hung
out the window and screamed,
“LOSER” at me.

my immediate thoughts
were to throw my
beer can at their car
but I didn’t think it was
worth the waste

and then,
I wanted to throw
the bag of **** at them
but you and I both know
those kids lives
aren’t as nearly as valuable
as the dog **** in my hand.
Creativity and ingenuity can hit you at anywhere, at anytime.

To you to you
what I wants to say to you;
air sea sky blue
clouds fluffy as sleep
with you,
  oh with you

My arms never tire
of you inside them
how do I stand the
separation when you
leave me,
when you leave me,
take yourself out of me

Hug you so close
like playdough to smoosh
my blue into your red
swirling, that is how

I smell you smell me
I didn't know this
could be so true,
this swelling, sighing
death defying love
of ours like bears
Animal, I devour you

In ankle deep icy rivers
I paw you, nuzzle you
shed your skin
lie with you naked
dangerously
I come
with you anywhere
you want to go

Light likes to think its the fastest thing,
That it can travel anywhere and be the first there,
Light believes nothing can beat it to its destination.
But no matter how fast or far light goes it is always beaten,
because darkness has always got there first and is always waiting for the light.
light and darkness has this fight it is a never ending fight but still day after day they fight.

Pocket full of lint,

Will Never get anywhere,

I knew where I was going,

Didn't find out how to get there,

But then you came out of the blue,

When my skies were,

Blowing kisses to you,

Knowing that my life was filled with dirt,

I'm hurt,
By the way life has treated me,
Deserve,
Nothing but desire and entities,
Leave,
Don't come back til judgment day,
I,
Have regretful things to say,

See what you made me do,
I'm losing it,
Because of you,
But without you,
I go insane,
I won't be the same,
I don't even know your name,
Man! nothing comes easy.
Nothing ever does....

she was asked what was art, and she replied saying, 'it's paintings, like from picasso.'

art is not only found on a canvas

it can be seen through the movements of dancers.

it can be heard through a musician's voice or words.

it can be smelled in a chef's resturant.

it can be shown at fashion shows.

it can be captured in photographs.

it can be written in the form of a poem.

Only places between us.
Narrow burrows,
furrowed rows,
and thick tracks,
and motorways.
They look small from above.
Slight interconnections
gathering for stride;
your eyes,
oh,
your eyes.

You left the trail of lily of valley for me to find you,
'cause you knew they'd take me anywhere.

If I could hide well enough,
Blend in with the blurred sea of unknown faces,
I would leave this place,
So full of memories,
Saturated with reminders,
I would find a way out,
To find a nowhere of my own,
And hide alone,
In a place without past,
I would build a heart to withstand the ages.

But my motionless body stands out,
As all around rush and hurry,
I live in solitude,
Feet planted firm, eyes down,
Streams of haste surround me,
But their flow does not stir my stationary presence,
So in a scene of panic, I am calm,
I am noticed,
I am forced to remain by my own fear to stay,
And my perfect nowhere,
Doesn't seem to be anywhere,
And my history is everywhere,
Wherever I search,
All I find is wall after wall,
As I try to escape my mind.

My frantic dance of repeating obstruction,
Is never seen by those around,
Because, of course, they don't really look,
They see a boy staring at his feet,
But if one person would stop and join me,
They'd realise,
I'm not staring at my feet,
I'm staring into my own eyes,
In the rain-soaked pavement,
And if they looked into them too,
They would see that I am moving,
Not standing still,
They'd see how long I tried,
And how long I failed,
And how many times I tripped up,
But still I haven't quite found,
A nowhere of my own.
