People often wish life had a rewind button,
Sometimes I wish too,
But at the moment,
A forward button would just do

To see if there's a light,
At the end of this long dark tunnel,
And to see if it's worth the fight,
To put up with this hopeless struggle

To see if there's a real version,
Of these dreams of tomorrow years,
To see if courage will be victorious,
Over these crippling omnipresent fears

To see if there's an end,
To this bottomless free fall,
To see if it's everything ever imagined,
Or, (I hope not)
*if it's nothing at all
