My perspective is Unique,
       and at times troublesome
I see the world differently

Looking into someone’s eyes,
I see what pains them most
Reading someone’s face,
I see the pain up close
I see the world differently

My heart is full of empathy,
       though my face is blank
To show what I see in others seems illogical,
if only to spare them pain
I see the world differently

Instead I laugh and smile,
in hopes it will be returned
And if it is genuine,
Than I have found a friend
I see the world differently
