You have to face it
time has the edge,

there have been lots of edges
some we've gone over
thinking that was the finishing line,

time has the final say,
but look at today
we've had all the time in the world
and yet, done nothing with it

that's the beauty of it
and
the cruelty within it.

Summer and some aren't
that's the way I look at it.
