A small romantic gesture
Is all you need

To block out the world
And watch people leave

Listening to the hollow whispers
And that one song that makes you blush

You feel the beating drums in your ears
You feel the sudden rush

You try to look away
But you keep your gaze

As if roses were blooming in their eyes
And you can’t break the pace

A small romantic gesture
They make

Can make you feel
Like you haven’t walked for days

A sweet scent of vanilla and musk
Fills the entire room

You don’t know if this is it
Or is it too soon

Mistakes and wrecks were done before
A heart can only bear much

So how is it still so weak and tender
To a single romantic touch ?
