Oct 2021
the rustling of the yellow leaves
tug upon the branches
bending trees that yaw and weave
high above the benches

the outlook waters roll and dip
to sculpting hands of air
there ducks that float like sailing ships
with backs that show no care

sitting, mulling near this shore
in chatty wind's discourse
cumulus thoughts of nature's tense
absolves the bonds of sense
