May 2016
The rocks gather and battle the sea
Pebbles laze on the beach
Seaweed slinks over the sand
While the seagulls fly out of reach
A dog runs after a soft fluffy ball
Her owner shouts a command
Children exuberantly chase each other
A couple walk together hand in hand
Steps lead up to the old theatre
A beautiful testament to this town
Dj's and comedy night posters
Let this tiny little Art house down
The old lighthouse in the distance
Guards over the marauding tides
North East South and West
Spreads out on all sides
Never will I ever leave here
I would be lost and all at sea
God put the roots down for my happiness
And it is where I shall always be
