Dec 2014
There is nothing in this world as courageous
As children.
Fearless, no apologies, committed to the end
Lets make a mockery of all the people
Who do us wrong.
Rewrite history cathartically but secretly
Lets draw on dolls with sharpies, paint their bodies and faces
Perform funny voices, themes
Spend hours building sets

Shrill voices, laughter that makes your stomach ache
There is nothing as brave as a child.
And though the world looks at us
And we look at ourselves
We wonder and they wonder:
Who are you?
We are heroes.
