at one time the Universe was seemingly voiceless
but was in fact spoken into being
and God is a poet, by the way, and creates

Summer arrives, scent through open windows
busy Bees heavy laden chased back outside

The Gulls songs have changed
the Cuckoo has arrived

All manner of garden birds
fill up on Sunflower hearts

All is greening, reaching for the sky
as I live fully a miniscule life.

a red streak unmistakeable
this horror to misunderstand
we clash in armour but bleed

a gun shot deafening
breaks ancient codes
we die at distance

Men fighting Orcs
in a duel of death
Wielding swords.

the dance of stars
we play the music
universal heartbeats

a silent song
reverberates
in bony chests

someone, a clarion
sings it as it is
then dies, with everyone else.

we have Midges, here, at times
and they rule where they fly

bruises are personal
but they all look-alike
depending on severity

tumbling down the years
bruised blue shins
falling into tomorrow

one person grins
another smiles
and who is to say
which is which

small things hold great mysteries
the warp and weave of a Universe.

with a walk as unique as fingerprints
and a smile no one else possesses

insignificant is a misnomer
in a Universe bending
to the flight of the Butterfly

its a time for Bugs
for many wings

some want to eat you
**** your blood

others oblivious
to your existence

light is a great attractor
that can sizzle

webs are weaved
strung across flyways

many a bug
gets wrapped and eaten.

the worldly know only of worldly things
and will rip and tear their clothes
and gnashing their teeth
will hate that you speak of other things.

Spirit of Love animating the flesh
the eternal spirit
inhabiting the finite flesh

passed beyond the veil
where eye cannot fathom

yet faith says 'yes'
all is well with them

one way or another
love holds them fast.

carving into forever
a tattooed song
written in skin.

a place 'to be'
to sing

long search
forged songs

all along
the road.

heartwood within all songs
jungle
the beat and rhythmic sounds

sending poems into space
across swathes of sky

around the Earth they roam
set free

a piano lays dormant
its keys frozen in time
a silent fingerless tune.

star splash makes green
a summers growth

all new budding birthed
from the brown

unmistakeable surrender
cruciform shaped

burned into the forehead
a manifestation of the mind

deep heart crucified
willingly dead.

silence waits for all noise
to cease

she will let you enter
her realms

when your effort
matches her solitude.

death is a serious business
for the undertaker

the one who is going to take you
and put you under

to be a passenger on the Enterprise would be mind blowing
yet here we are at break neck speed through space
and we squabble to the point of killing each other.

where time is linear
yet goes round in circles

you can be found in space time
a forever shared memory

yesterday disappeared from sight
yet still lives on in the mind

lives on in your DNA
lives on in your skin

lives on in your consumption
lives on in your tomorrows.

one thought, one choice, one step
with hope in your heart

to come closer to the centre
to love a little more tender

to listen, to respect, to acknowledge,
to understand, to cry, to laugh

with hope in your heart
another step closer.

Butterflies are found in graveyards
warming their wings on stone
and Butterflies make their way into daydreams
sometimes landing on trembling hands.

spoken out into the Universe
gentle cadence of the songs of Butterflies
with poetry painted across their wings.

words in many myriad ways in all languages on Earth
describe 'love'
and the breath of God has sanctified its utterance in time and eternity.

I have taken a sip of forever
let the spirit of love wash over my teeth
and swallowed deep down my throat
the Blood of the Lamb.

raced through the night
to arrive on time
had no choice
just went to sleep
and woke
to another place, in space.

whispers snake around the stars
voices alien but loved,
'Man I love your accent'
you are so alien you could be my saviour.
Lets be reckless, real stupid and have a baby
A baby with your smile and my addictions
my songs my words my need to be alone.

travelling the minds eyes
into imaginations portals

out into timeless journeys;
amazing unique adventures.

through the front window
-the neighbouring island
looming from out the sea
- just across the waters
where many sailors have drowned
deep down in the depths
of the infamous Scapa Flow.

a new toy, a new distraction,
leaves of the sycamore unfurling,
light and life within a moment
love calls you back from yourself
here comes freedom sings the Moon
pulling the ocean in her wake.

Dandelions are in full bloom
- food for Bees and
- food for souls;
irresistible yellow.

the Ant has its place
along with the Spider

a Bee is understood
to be on its journey

a sister lost to man
man who misunderstands

a spiritual awakening
the female;  Queen

some sing of pain
I included

my pain is united
united to loves pain

love nailed to a cross
love that died

love that resurrected
from the dead

the sky replenishes the river
the river the sea
the sea and the river the sky.

living next the eternal sea
the flowing watery crystal;
lifegiving ancient womb.

I see our lover hiding behind the sycamore tree
our lover watching as we search for them
showing themselves, they could not hide for long

our lover displays flowers
month of May bounty

our lover hides
but cannot hide for long

predetermined in love,
for love, with love
by love.
