Sea
For years & years I fought myself
Breaking for air in a raging sea
That violently slashes me, drags me down
To a place so dark it will make you blind.

One day I found floating debris
And clung for dear life in the darkest sea.
I thought that moment that I was safe,
That piece of scrap was solid ground
But I ignored the fact that I was lost,
Still lost in the drubbing waves.

For years I've been floating on false pretenses,
Believe I am completely well
But my safe haven is withering away
And I'm struggling again against the thrashing waves.

I was never free, and now I'm back
In my deepest troubles and loudest yells
I'm drowning again and I'm tasting defeat
I'm not sure how much longer I can fight the sea
And soon I'm sure I'll succumb to the screams
But at least then I'll finally be free.

Wrap your arms around my waist,
Allow my troubles to be erased.
With tender words, ease my ears
And wash away all these fears
Of no success and a life alone
Where forever I'll remain unknown.
Show me that at least to you,
I'm not a crazy, nagging shrew.
I want a future with a life.
Maybe a lover, or maybe a wife.
Just make me yours and cure my fears
And we'll have no worries for dozens of years.
So pull me tight into your chest.
Please let my worries have a rest.
Kiss my head & stroke my hair,
Be the answer to my lifelong prayer.

When the world is falling apart
And you only want a new start
Close your eyes, oh close your eyes
Clear your head of all the lies
Take a deep breath in, breath in
Accept all of your sins, all of your sins
And start anew

Ignore the ones that throw you down
Find new friends to hang around
Leave behind your old regrets
Throw out all of your cigarettes
And start anew, start anew
Get out of the blue and start anew

When you only want to be alone
And your heart feels like a heavy stone
Have no fear to shed your tears
Ignore the comments of your peers
And tomorrow when morning arrives
Just remember that you survived.

Ignore the ones that throw you down
Find new friends to hang around
Leave behind your old regrets
Throw out all of your cigarettes
And start anew, start anew
Get out of the blue and start anew

So when your sky is falling, falling
And you’re reduced to crawling, crawling
Stand up tall and breathe in
And march forward with a giant grin

Ignore the ones that throw you down
Find new friends to hang around
Leave behind your old regrets
Throw out all of your cigarettes
And start anew, start anew
Get out of the blue and start anew
And start anew
Start anew
Anew

The future has been around for hundreds of years
Shadowed in doubt and shadowed in fears
But when the upcoming becomes the past
We find the answers to what we’ve asked.
We learn our meaning and find our desires,
We mend our wounds and start new fires,
We discover friends and hear their requests,
We accept new jobs and are paid in stress.
The future, for decades has been the same
A test for humans, a waiting game.
The future becomes present, and soon - past
Always answering what we once have asked.
The only variable to change in years
Are the answers determined by our peers.
So do not fret for what is not now
The future is only what you allow.

There's a magical place with a special glow
Where only certain people with skill can go.
It's in front of your eyes but buried deep
and it's best to visit when your eyes crave sleep.
It's name is so special and known to a few
but those who do love it through and through.
It's most commonly known as the YouTube vortex
as it enters your eyes and connects to your cortex
with crazy topics like cannibals and cat
to baffling ideas and llamas with hats.
There's no telling what you'll find each day,
but the YouTube vortex will never become cliche.

From Sorcerers to Hallows and wizards to witches,
These stories are worth over one hundred snitches.
Together in friendship, you'll watch three mature
As they fight for what's right and destroy the impure
These stories will live in your heart and your head
Through the brightest of times and until you are dead.
So enjoy this novel, the first of a few
I promise you'll love them, just as I do.
You'll remember the portraits and  the hallways
And from now 'till the end - you will love them - always.

I rather be normal and healthy
Than ever rich and wealthy.
I'm tired of sickness and disease
And by the time I'm 20, I'll have no knees.
I've had a cyst, and now I have a tumor
But at least nothing's stolen my sense of humor.
At a single time, I had three threatening ailments
I'm like a train on the tracks racing towards derailment.
I usually eat healthy and I run everyday,
So why are am I always needing another x-ray?
I'm a walking death trap, waiting to die
But at this point, I don't know why.
I'm invincible but dying
So I'm sitting here sighing
And enjoying the irony
Of being dead, but also alive.
