If that's love, I don't want it.
If we argue everyday
about minuscule money problems,
I don't want it.
If you're gonna lie to me in order to "make me feel better",
I don't want it.
If even after I accept your flaws you disrespect me,
I don't want it.
If I'll never be the only chick as opposed to the side or main chick,
I don't want it.
If I'm always giving and never receiving,
I don't want it.
Especially when you know
my love language is receiving.

If time did not exist I don't know where I'd be
I wouldn't be here,
but I have no clue where I'd be.
Maybe I'd travel into the past
fix things to make my present better.
Or I'd go into the future.
Assess my future self and if I don't like her,
I'd change
If time did not exist simple things
would complicate,
and complicated things
would be simplified

Feelings,
they can **** everything up.
Whether they're good or bad
if you cant control them,
they'll always be bad.
They'll find a way to make
someone look too weak, or
too vulnerable, or too strong.
In a world where we're not given
the space to be too anything.
Here, being balanced is key,
or so we're told.
And what that statement does
to someone like me who feels
everything so profoundly is:
it makes us numb.
Numb to sadness & numb to happiness.
It doesn't allow us to
feel anything to the full extent;
leading us to eventually become
emotionally unavailable.
Robots.
Heartless.
All because we've been taught
to look for balance
where balance doesn't exist.
